Our group classes offer a variety of ways to get moving together and deepen connections in your family and relationships. Whether it’s some one on one time with your best friend or spouse in our Couples Yoga workshop, or your whole family moving and playing together in Family Yoga our group classes are a great way to spend time together.
In addition, our specialty group classes for Kids or Young women are great additions to any event that these two special populations are participating in, be it birthday parties, school events or a fun afterschool program.
For all classes, please remember that while no special attire is necessary, comfortable clothes you can move in are recommended.
Family Yoga
Bend, Breathe and Be Together!
Practicing yoga as a family offers a chance to connect, play and relax together. The class includes interactive partner and group poses, fun yoga games and finishes with a a bonding relaxation exercise. The emphasis is on gentle fun postures, spontaneity and joy. Parents and children will work together building trust, confidence, coordination, strength and flexibility and learning techniques for stress management and relaxation.
This workshop is for families of all ages, shapes and sizes! No prior yoga experience required.
Couples Yoga
This is a fun and relaxing class designed to bring two people together through yoga and touch. A beautiful way to release tension, build trust and deepen your relationship. We’ll focus on tuning into and listening to subtle cues from our partner which helps increase intimacy and communication skills. The class will include some breathing exercises, gentle stretching postures as well as partner massage, stress management skills and final deep relaxation.
Tracy her husband Dave will demonstrate simple postures and techniques you can practice at home together any time and give you a taste of what practicing Yoga with a partner is all about.
No previous Yoga experience necessary. This workshop is open to all levels of fitness.
Childrens Yoga
For children 5-10
A wonderful way to keep young bodies and minds active and engaged!
This is a fun, interactive class that introduces yoga in a playful way using stories, games and props . We learn some breathing techniques and a variety of yoga postures topped off with some deep relaxation.
Girl Power Yoga
for girls ages 11-15
Find your inner light and let it shine!
A special class for teen girls with fun music to help get the body moving. We’ll learn yoga poses to increase strength, balance and flexibility
for groovy, growing and changing bodies as well as some meditation, breathing and relaxation techniques to help navigate all the challenges life throws at you with grace and courage.
